The Academy Agency
The Academy Agency represents child, teen and young adult actors.
Our child and teen actors are trained through our affiliated schools. We have a reputation for discovering and developing new, young, raw talent and introducing it to the Industry. The clients on our small and selective list are all experienced and established actors with impressive credits or very much up and coming and new to the business but already making their mark on it.
Our actors work across the board in TV, Film, Theatre and Commercials, idents, corporates, etc.
We pride ourselves on having the best actors on our books, sourcing the best quality talent to join us and on our strong working relationships with Casting Directors who call our actors in for auditions at the top level across the industry.
The Academy Agency is small, focused, dynamic and forward thinking and this reflects in our approach and in our work.

Representation
Most of our child and teen actors train at The Academy Performing Arts School where they are then considered for professional representation by the Agency.
We do also however accept independent submissions for children age 6 to 18yrs. Please firstly apply to Stacey Bland with a covering email, CV and headshot (if you have them) we will then be in touch if we require a self tape or more information in order to take your application further. We will endeavour to reply to all request for representation.
PERFORMANCE LICENCE
Please note by law all performers under 16 require a licence from their Local Education Authority before they can perform professionally. We as the agency obviously assist you with getting this and it is normally fairly straightforward. However if the work is to take place during school hours we do need a permission of absence letter from your child’s school. Therefore this is something to discuss with the school before you join the agency.
SPOTLIGHT
The Academy Agency does not charge any admin/joining fee. However all clients the Academy represent have to join “Spotlight”. Spotlight is the UKs main casting tool used by professional agents. Please visit www.spotlight.com for more information.
